Prof. Dr. A. Arunachalam, Founder and Chairman of the Adaikalamatha Group of Institutions, Thanjavur and Christhu Raj College, Tiruchirappalli, is an accomplished educationist with over 45 years of rich experience in the field of higher education, specializing in Law and Economics.

He began his distinguished academic journey as a Lecturer at S.T. Hindu College, Nagercoil, and later served as Principal in several leading colleges in Tirunelveli and Thanjavur districts. He was deputed as the Registrar of Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University, and holds the unique distinction of being the first Registrar of Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli.

A Doctorate holder from Ranchi University, Dr. Arunachalam has authored more than 15 books in Economics, contributing extensively to academic literature. He also serves as the Correspondent and Advisor to Mookambigai Engineering College and Srinivasa Polytechnic, Keeranur.

Beyond academia, he is deeply committed to social development. He has adopted several villages and provided essential amenities such as electricity and water supply. His dedication to youth upliftment is evident through the numerous welfare camps he has organized. His international educational visits further enriched his vision, making him the guiding force and patron of the Adaikalamatha Institute of Management.
