EVALUATION
The trainees shall be evaluated internally
and externally in each year. The external
examination will be conducted by the Director
of Government Examinations, Chennai.
PRACTICAL EXAMINATION
A Board of Practical Examiners constituted
by the DTERT will very the internal assessment
marks in subjects 9.10 and 11 with reference
to records maintained. The board will observe
the teaching of 20% of the examinees and verify
the relevant records of teaching practice
of all trainees and finalize the marks for
papers 9,10,11 and 12.

GRADES FOR INTERNAL ASSESSMENT
Internal Assessment marks for the subjects
9, 10, 11 and 12 will be converted into grades

Minimum for a pass is 50% in external examination
as well as in internal assessment; in respect
of papers I to VII and in subjects 9 to 12.Those
who fall in the external examination will
have to reappear for the examination in the
subseuent year in the month of April.Those
who fail in the internal assessment will have
to appear before the practical Board of Examiners
in the subsequent years.
